How will you help me with my trauma and/or grief?
The primary treatment modality I use is EMDR, which is a proven-effective trauma healing method that reduces the upsetting features of bad memories and traumatic images of past events that can disturb people for months, years, or even decades.
What is EMDR?
EMDR does not require a lot of talking during the process and you won’t be required to do any homework. EMDR allows the brain to process your trauma and resume its natural healing process through the use of bilateral stimulation including eye movements, sounds, or tapping.

EMDR is also an effective treatment for grief
The combination of focusing on memories of a loved one, friend, or pet who has passed away while receiving bilateral stimulation often helps grieving people work through the complex emotions that they may be experiencing after a loss. Once these more difficult emotions have been processed, people often feel lighter and can experience a sense of reconnection to the more positive aspects of the deceased, resulting in the healing of the sadness associated with their death. The results appear to hold up very well over time.
